Josh is a producer, mixer, orchestrator, & multi-instrumentalist in Nashville, TN. He's made records with Butch Walker, Marc Scibilia, William Fitzsimmons, Matthew Perryman Jones, Jump Little Children, Paris Monster, Frances Cone, & Heather Nova.
His musical contributions have been featured on shows like Grey's Anatomy, Twin Peaks, Nashville, Lethal Weapon, and Shameless. His unique ability to play a variety of instruments while still listening to the song with a writer’s ear makes for productions that consistently feel honest and true to the song’s intent.
When he’s not making records for artists, Josh likes to spend time writing music for his project Hula Hi-Fi. A majority of the last album was accompanied by The Brno Philharmonic Orchestra (Czech Republic), which he arranged for.
Josh can also be found as a touring musician playing whatever he’s been bribed to do. He’s traveled the world with many artists including Aaron Lee Tasjan, Dar Williams, & his "dork-rock" band Slow Runner. He’s made television appearances on Seth Meyers with Stephen Sanchez (piano), James Corden with Oklahoma! (pedal steel), and CBS Saturday Morning with Lola Kirke (guitar).
